Dr. Frankie Harrison
Clinical Psychologist, Co-Founder

Dr Frankie Harrison is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and has been supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing for over 13 years.

Frankie qualified from her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leicester in 2017 and has since worked in a number of different mental health settings and across the lifespan, however, currently specialises in supporting NICU parents, past, present and future.

Frankie's passion for helping parents who have been through neonatal care started after having her son prematurely due to Pre-eclampsia at 31 weeks in 2019.

She then decided that she wanted to use her skills as a Clinical Psychologist and her unique position of having combined lived experience to support other parents in a similar situation. This combination helps Frankie to really understand what NICU parents have been through; she has lived it and is able to support you through it.

Georgie Robinson
Co-Founder

Georgie is a skilled Graphic Designer and a resilient NICU mum whose journey into motherhood took an unexpected turn in 2019 when her daughter was born suddenly and prematurely at 31 weeks, leading to a stay in the NICU.

Navigating through the challenges of those early days -compounded by multiple lockdowns - Georgie turned to Instagram for comfort and connection, where she discovered a supportive community of fellow NICU parents. It was there she met Frankie, and together they realised that Georgie's graphic design talents could be a powerful tool for raising awareness about neonatal care and supporting other NICU families.

With her unique blend of creativity and technical expertise, Georgie plays a crucial role in shaping the brand. Her designs and visual storytelling are the heart of Miracle Moon, helping to connect with and support more families on their NICU journey.

Our Story

Miracle Moon was born from a mix of professional psychological expertise and personal experiences that have shaped our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing space for parents navigating the challenges of neonatal intensive care. We truly understand the emotional rollercoaster that comes with the NICU journey, because we've been there too.

We know how overwhelming this time can be, and we believe that no one should have to face it alone. That’s why we’re dedicated to building a strong community where parents can find comfort, support, and the psychological tools they need to heal and grow. We’re here to help you build resilience, find hope, and navigate this journey with confidence.

Our mission is simple: to support as many NICU families as we possibly can. Whether you’re looking for free information through our podcast, social media, and resources, or more in-depth support within our NICU Space community, we’ve got you covered. We also offer group therapy sessions and personalised consultations for both parents and professionals, ensuring that our support meets you exactly where you are.

At Miracle Moon, you’re not just part of a community - you’re part of a family that understands, cares, and is here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

September 2019

Miracle Moon Co-founder, Georgie, is thrown into her NICU journey when her daughter is born at 31 weeks.

October 2019

One month later, Dr Frankie Harrison’s son is also born at 31 weeks.

Early 2020

Covid hits; Frankie and Georgie are now at home with their NICU babies and start searching for connection with other NICU parents on Instagram. They find each other and get chatting.

Late 2020

After months of chatting, and realising they were simply not finding the support they needed anywhere, Frankie and Georgie combined their skills and expertise as a Clinical Psychologist and Graphic Designer and launched Miracle Moon in August 2020.

Initially, Miracle Moon was just an Instagram page to validate and connect fellow NICU parents, but after the clamour for content the podcast and website quickly followed.

Soon enough, Frankie had left her role as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and was treating NICU parents privately under Miracle Moon. Fundraisers and products were launched and new ways to support the NICU community were developed.

2024

Today, Miracle Moon support NICU parents through individual and group therapy, resources, books, podcasts and The NICU Space community platform. Frankie and Georgie spend time campaigning, raising awareness and developing partnerships to try and improve the NICU journeys of other families and continue to develop new ways to support those in need.
