It’s been five years since the first COVID lockdown – it’s gone so fast and feels so long ago all at once. Back in season one, we spoke to Tori who talked to us all about her experience of having her baby, Phoenix, at 25 weeks, right as COVID was kicking off around the world. A lot has happened in the last five years, so we wanted to get Tori back onto the podcast to update us about her life, her mental health, Phoenix and Tori had OCD and health anxiety before being pregnant with Phoenix, so NICU and lockdowns were unfortunately just the perfect storm for her to really suffer during that time. She experienced a lot of trauma, and she never thought she could see a way in which having another baby could be a possibility for her family.
Now though, she’s processed what she went through using EMDR and is excited for their new addition to arrive. Even though she’s 25 weeks pregnant currently, she’s not afraid of what the future holds for her family.
